Who We Are
Burliant Woodworks is the product of a couple guys efforts over the course of more than a decade; finding wood, hauling wood, cutting wood, storing wood, drying wood, turning wood, ruining wood, cursing at wood, fixing wood, finishing wood, taking pictures of wood, and sharing finished wood with others.
Where We Are
Burliant Woodworks is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Northern California. Our local ecosystems provide us with some of the most beautiful and desirable wood on the planet. And in almost all cases the wood we seek is salvaged...so it becomes showpieces instead of landfill.
What We're Doing
Burliant Woodworks are part time woodworkers who are becoming more serious about the business side of our craft. Beginning in Winter of 2021 we will be milling the mountain of wood we've collected. After drying, that wood will be available for sale to other woodworkers or sold as finished projects or commission pieces. We are having fun, making some cool stuff, and loving our future prospects.
